Each individual bed or mattress has been given a Comfort Rating.

There are 3 comfort catergories, into which each product has been divided.  These are:

Firm

Medium

Soft

The classification we have given each product is only a guide.  One persons medium could be another persons soft!  However, it will give you an idea as to the overall feel of the bed or mattress and hopefully help you make your choice.

Some models are available with either a platform or sprung edge base.  Each type of base selected will give the whole bed a different Comfort Rating.

For ease of use, as you change the base option (if an option is available) so does the Comfort Rating.

Delivery

Delivery to ALL OF MAINLAND UK IS FREE OF CHARGE.

Please note that we do have a MINIMUM ORDER VALUE which is £295.00. Any order which totals up to less than this minimum amount, will have the following charges added.

Please note : Regardless of number of items ordered, only one delivery charge (highest charged item) applies. We regret we are only able to supply assembled Bedroom or Dining furniture to mainland Uk addresses. 

At present when ordering, check-out will say free UK delivery for the above areas, the additional charge will be added to your order and acknowledged.  Please allow an extra 10-15 working days onto delivery times quoted for deliveries to above destinations.

We Do Not Deliver On A Saturday Or Sunday.

Normal delivery lead-times will vary according to the product ordered, and are shown against each individual item. However deliveries outside Mainland UK made take longer, but this will be detailed with your order confirmation.

In the unlikley event that we cannot fufill this deadline, you will be contacted immediately.

Order Acknowledgement

On receipt of your order, we will send an acknowledgement of the order by email. The acknowledgement will confirm full details of the item(s) you have purchased. Please take time and care to check the following:

1. Your name, delivery address, telephone numbers and postal code.
2. The products you have ordered including models, sizes, quantities and in the case of sofas, pay particular attention to fabrics chosen and their code numbers.
3. Your financial information.

Confirmation of Delivery

Silentnight's products (Except 'Express Next Day' delivery items) are delivered by their own dedicated Direct Home Delivery team. All other products on our site are delivered by a team of quality outside contractors, who we have strictly vetted.

As soon as possible and within our quoted delivery time, Silentnight or our appointed delivery contractors, will phone you to confirm the delivery day along with a AM or PM time slot. We cannot give a more specific anticipated delivery time for that particular day.

Please note that dispatch of the goods will not be made unless this telephone contact has been made to you.

At Home

Delivery is generally carried out by 2 experienced delivery drivers (except 'Express Next Day' delivery items, these are delivered by a driver only who will deliver to doorway only), who will deliver your new goods to the room of your choice. They cannot however assemble your new goods, remove packaging or dispose of your old furniture.

Failed Deliveries

In the event that you miss your delivery, a card will be left with contact details to re-arrange  delivery/collection for another day.  We do however reserve the right to recoup transportation costs for the return trip.

Refused Deliveries

If through no fault of our own, and after confirming a delivery date with you, you refuse a delivery when we call, we then reserve the right to levy a charge to recoup transportation costs for the return trip.

Failed Deliveries

Please make sure, that the furniture you are ordering is of the correct size and shape to gain access to the building or room into which the furniture needs to go.

We do however, reserve the right to recover costs of collection (should you not be able to gain access) , which would be deducted from the refund amount.  The charges for this are detailed in our 'Terms and Conditions'.

Q. Will you take my goods to the room of my choice?

Yes, (except 'Express Next Day' delivery items).

Q. Do you unpack the goods?

No

Q. Would it be possible to remove my old furmiture?

No, unfortunately we cannot remove old furniture, as the logistics of doing so would prove too complicated. However, most councils are sympathetic and will agree to take away furniture by prior arrangement.

Q. Can we deliver outside mainland UK?

Yes we can. We are able to deliver to the following areas: Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland,  Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Alderney and Sark, Scilly Islands and Isle of Wight. However, there will be a charge for this facility, details of which are listed above.

Our Low Price Policy

We always set very competitive prices for all our products.  However, if you find the same item cheaper, we will lower our price to match.

The brand comparison must be exactly the same item in terms of brand, model, colour, size etc.,  We expect the goods to be offered on equivaent terms, and so we take into account 'hidden extras' charged by the competitor, such as delivery charges.

Each price match enquiry needs to be authenticated by the following details:

Our price match offer will be made only once for that particular product, at that particular time.
